Oh Yes He Is!

With the festive season fast approaching, Nathan is having a whale of a time, rehearsing this year's Wakefield Pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, at the Theatre Royal, appropriately enough, on Drury Lane, but Drury Lane, Wakefield.

Nathan will be giving his first ever fully-fledged panto baddie, Ghastly Gordon, and is thoroughly enjoying being as ridiculously over-the-top as possible!

It has been 18 years since Nathan's last pantomime, Aladdin at the Royal Theatre, Northampton, where he played one of the baddie's henchmen, so we'll see what the last (nearly) two decades have done, in terms of getting him ready to be as villainous as can be, to be the show's anti-hero in his own right.

Wakefield Theatre Royal prides itself on delivering a truly traditional, family panto, and this year promises to be no exception.  There are no star names, no reality rejects - just loads of laughs, lots of silliness, and of course, a whole load of slosh!

If the amount of fun being had in the rehearsal room is anything to go by, it promises to be a terrific fun night out.

Why not come to Wakefield, and see for yourself?  You know you want to.  Oh, yes you do!

Full details of the show's (punishing) schedule, and how to book, can be found here.  The show runs from the 2nd of December through to the 5th of January, and with 63 performances crammed into just five weeks, there's sure to be one at a time that suits you!
